Fern Canyon

One thing you can do In  Humboldt is go to Fern Canyon. It is one of the many Redwood parks you can go to.  It is a place to hike and be with your family and friends. It's about 30 minutes to the park from Arcata, but it’s worth it. Fern Canyon is a park were there are many ferns, which are plants they are really interesting and pretty cool. People have actually filmed movies there because it is so pretty. For instance, Jurassic Park was filmed at Fern Canyon. There many Redwood trees and creeks. You have to cross the creeks, so you need to bring water shoes. You also see a lot of elk, whitch are pretty cool animals. Elk have big antlers and they are similar to deer. When you get to Fern Canyon, there is a loop around the park. It is an amazing place, so be sure to bring a camara.

I will tell you about my experience of going to Fern Canyon. When my family comes to visit, we always take them to Fern Canyon its a great place to bring people. My family and I always wear water shoes so we can go through the creeks. We walk halfway through the park and then we stop and have a picnic. We always take lots of photos so we can have memories of being there. So if you come to Humbolt County, go to fern canyon.
