Ibn Batouta

Last month my class and I did an outing to visit Ibn Batouta's tomb in Tanger. Ibn Batouta was a great  morrocan traveler in the 14th century. He is known for his extensive travels, and his book "Rihla".Over a period of thirty years, Battuta visited most of the Islamic world and many non-Muslim lands. He have been to
all Africa, Europe and Asia, a distance surpassing Marco Polo. Battuta is considered one of the greatest travellers of all time(Tom Cage made a presentation about him in Kenitra).
